Middlesbrough is a large town in Northeast England located on the South bank of the River Tees. As of 2011, the town had an estimated population of 138,400, but it is part of the Teesside built-up area, which had a population of 376,333 according to the 2011 census.

  8. Middlesbrough also has a growing reputation as a centre for digital businesses, and especially digital animation businesses.

  9. The main road serving Middlesbrough is the A19.

  10. Middlesbrough railway station offers services to a variety of destinations including Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, and York.
